Epic Studios’ BBC Election Special 2015

Epic Studios is delighted with the way that the BBC Look East Election Special went last night and would like to extend its thanks to both BBC and Epic Studios crew for making it another BBC/Epic studios success story.

Introduced by Stewart White and aired on BBC1, the show ran without a hitch and audience members put insightful questions to the panel of politicians, consisting of Andy Sawford (Labour), Elizabeth Truss (Conservative), Rupert Read (Green), Douglas Carswell (UKIP), Norman Lamb (Lib Dem).

Assistant Editor Tony Campbell and Political Editor Deborah McGurran echoed our thoughts in their comments about the programme. Well done all, until next time!

“I’d just like to thank everyone who worked so hard on our show last night. It looked absolutely superb and was great content-wise too. It felt completely at home on the BBC1 HD channel going nationwide. There were lots of positive comments on Twitter and on the web during and after the show too, praising everything from the set to our brilliant presenter, Stewart. I’m really proud of what we, together with our friends at EPIC produced, so whatever part you played, thank you. You should all feel proud too!” (Tony Campbell)

Could I simply endorse all of TC’s comments and add my thanks too. It’s always a team effort and yesterday all the elements came together.  It’s wonderful to have the opportunity – it is our FA cup and I think we won!” (Deborah McGurran)

The debate is available on BBC iPlayer for the next few months so if you missed it don’t worry, just view it here!
