As a centre for training, EPIC has unequalled access to the latest HD and SD technology.

Two digital workshops are each equipped with 26 student and demonstrator Apple Mac workstations. Both workshops are equipped with Final Cut Pro editing software on each machine, with a video projector fed by the demonstrator's computer. One workshop has additional sound editing software and Dolby 5.1 playback for the teaching of audio skills.

Students can have access to all of EPIC's vast array of technical resources. And there are professional HDV cameras (Sony Z1s), portable Dado lighting kits and AVID Express laptops for the teaching of location skills - behind or infront of the camera.

With three professional broadcast studios, broadcast editing and dubbing facilities, those learning the skills of their trade here work on the equipment and the systems favoured by professionals.
