Studio E, our biggest production studio, has been re-equipped to the HD standard. Suitable for drama, sit.com, LE and chat show, it is up to 6,000 square feet overall, with a 60 x 80 foot space within black drapes or white cyclorama (infinity curve available). It can sit audiences of over 200. The studio is fully digital, widescreen and has a cyc height of 4.64m. Studio E has a motorised, saturation lighting grid, allowing ultra-quick setting and lighting. All the lights are under digital control - and we have Vari-Lite moving spots and floods and a huge stock of
parcans and other luminaires. The studio is on the first floor, served by a large goods lift, capable of carrying flats, sets and vehicles.

Technical Details

Studio E has six full High Definition Sony Broadcast studio cameras, and high-speed Canon studio box lenses. There is a new production gallery, re-equipped with a JVC HD Monitoring, Thomson Grass Valley HD vision mixer and recording to HD tape or integrated K2 server, allowing instant replay of studio recorded material, slo-mo, clips or graphics. There are real time HD graphics from a Pixel Power Clarity. The sound gallery has been re-equipped for live recording and broadcast of surround sound with a Calrec Alpha Bluefin desk.
