Edit Suites

EPIC has five fully featured Final Cut Studio Editing Suites – with HD monitoring, hardware audio mixing, and signal monitoring, which are available for commercial and broadcast production use. These suites are on a fibre infrastructure, connected to our 63 terra byte Storage Area Network (SAN).

EPIC also has an AVID Adrenalin suite capable of HD and SD.

For the purposes of teaching editing and audio post-production, EPIC also has two large workshops equipped with 52 seats of Final Cut Studio.

As the studios record directly to the SAN, productions taking place in any of the three EPIC studios are instantly available for post in these suites. 

EDIT 1 is equipped with 5.1 surround sound monitoring and is configured for online HD editing. Other suites are similarly equipped, but with stereo audio monitoring.

All suites have access to Digi-Beta, HD Cam, DVC Pro and HDV (1080i and 720p) VTRs. All edit suites are individually air-conditioned.
