EPIC has a TV discussion studio of approximately 1000sq. ft., suitable for smaller productions, magazine programmes, interviews, band performance, media training and small channel hosting, shooting in HD or SD..

The fully digital, widescreen studio is equipped with four lightweight JVC HD/SD cameras, fitted with studio adapters and talkback facilities. Alternatively, Thomson SD studio cameras can be used via triax. In September 2008, the discussion studio will re-open as a full HD facility.

On the production side, there are separate video and audio galleries. Vision mixer and DVE are currently being upgraded to HD. Picture store and Aston are also available. The audio gallery has a TASCAM DM-4800 digital mixer.

The studio can record to Digi-beta, most other tape formats, or to server for immediate editing access.
